General waste is suitable for non-hazardous, non-recyclable materials like low-grade plastics, polythene, food contaminated packaging, floor sweepings and unrecyclable packaging. You must not place any Recyclable Waste Streams (Paper / Card, Plastics, Metals, Glass or Food Waste) into a General Waste container.
