What can go in your bin?
This is all waste that isn’t hazardous, such as dirty food wrapper, plastic that cannot be recycled, greasy take away food containers (e.g pizza boxes aren’t recyclable), certain types of plastic bags, cling film, non-recyclable paper like tissues, soiled paper towels, laminated paper, non-recyclable office supplies (e.g., pens, markers), polystyrene foam, non-recyclable textile like unusable and non-recyclable clothing, textiles and linens.
Choosing the right size depends on the volume of waste you need to dispose of. We offer various sizes to accommodate different types of projects and business needs. If you’re unsure, our customer service team can help you determine the best option based on your specific requirements.
Our bins and skips are designed for general waste, recycling, and certain types of specialised waste. However, there are restrictions on hazardous materials and certain items like electronics or paint. Please refer to the Waste Classification Guidelines or contact us for more detailed information.
If your bin or skip is damaged or requires replacement, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible. We will arrange for a replacement or repair promptly to ensure you continue to have a functional waste disposal solution. You can request a new bin through Customerzone by raising a ticket, this will automatically send a ticket to us to action this request.
In some cases, a permit may be required to place a skip on public highway. We can assist you in obtaining the necessary permits, and we can advise on the placement of a skip and we’ll ensure it’s done safely and lawfully, including securing permits from local authorities and waste transfer documentation for your compliance records.
