McDonald’s is also serious about recycling and have set themselves the target of sending zero waste to landfill by 2020.
You’ll be pleased to hear the brand have been working to make recycling easier over the past four years, and since 2015 have installed over 1,100 new recycling units, meaning its easier to separate your plastics and cups for recycling in 85% of its restaurants.
McDonald’s has also promised to remove plastic straws from each of their 1,300 restaurants by the end of 2019.
